ノートパソコンを企業に売り込みたいと考えた。しかし、その考えはSteve Jobs氏にダメ出しされてしまった。

Fuller氏の説明によると、Jobs氏は企業のIT部門を取引の妨げになる障害とみなしていたという。当時、大企業の情報技術責任者の間では、自分の会社で導入するパソコンについて、「仕事をこなすための最低限の機能があればそれで十分」（Just Enough Desktop Infrastructure：”JEDI”）という考えが信じられていた──つまり、従業員のコンピュータへの投資は最小限に押さえたい、ということだった。そのため、ユーザーへの権限付与といった考えは無視されたが、それに対してJobs氏は、コンピュータは何よりも使う人間のことが優先されるべきという考えを信じていた。Jobs氏がFuller氏に企業への売り込みを許さなかったのも、それが理由だった。
